Rising Stars' success

| GRADING SUCCESS: Rising Stars with their certificates. |
THE RISING Sun Rising Stars recently held their three monthly grading at the Colcot Sports Centre. Each of the children grading showed excellent skills and demonstrated a very good standard of basic karate movements and combinations.
At the end of the grading, certificates and medals were awarded to those who were successful by Sensai Lee Bennett who expressed his delight with these young karatekas' improvements.
Awards were as follows: Jack Long, Mason Smith, Ashleigh Millard, Kelsey Dawe, James Brown, Taleigha Sims and Adam Davies all achieved level 3, Thierry Cullinane level 2 and Nathan Jackson level 1.
Any child aged 4 to 6 who wishes to join this class may call at the Colcot Sports Centre between 11am and noon on Sunday or ring Lee on 07861699476.
Anyone wishing to join the Rising Sun class is welcome to call in to the YMCA on a Friday between 7pm and 8pm for a free taster lesson.
